Dr. Ashraf Lotfi is a technical advisor for Vasquez Benisek & Lindgren, LLP and advises on complex intellectual property matters and patent prosecution. Dr. Ashraf is a former VP & Fellow Intel Corporation. Prior to Intel, he was Altera’s Power CTO serving its Enpirion Power Business as well as the broader FPGA community. Prior to that, he served as President & CEO of Enpirion, which he founded in 2002. He built Enpirion from the ground‐up, raising all its capital needs, developing its innovative technology, deploying its products, winning its customers and growing its profitable sales. Prior to founding Enpirion, he was Director of Advanced Power Research at Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ. Dr. Lotfi started as a Graduate Research Assistant at VPEC, Virginia Tech, working on high‐frequency power conversion. He received his BSEE from Cairo University in 1984, his MSEE & Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 1993, and an executive MBA from Northeastern University in 2001.
