Lineage Power Corporation today announced a definitive settlement of the Lineage Power v. SynQor patent litigation action pending in the Eastern District of Texas. Terms of the settlement are confidential. Originally filed in March of 2008, in this consolidated action Lineage Power had sued SynQor alleging infringement of six of its patents, and SynQor had counterclaimed alleging infringement of three of its patents. Each party had also asserted various affirmative defenses and counterclaims.

In the settlement, the parties have agreed to mutual releases and a dismissal with prejudice of all claims asserted against each other in the litigation. The case was dismissed by the judge with prejudice. Lineage Power is satisfied with the settlement and remains committed to vigorously defending its
